pea soup
Made pea soup yesterday and it is delicious! I am very proud of myself! Normally I am not a cook but I did it! Cooking pea soup made me want to start cooking healthy again. I am getting back into a rhythm slowly but surly.
biggest loser challenge
Found out today that my work is going to be doing a “Biggest Loser Challenge”. All I know so far is:
- Our organization is against other organizations in the county.
- We can have as many teams of 5 people or less in our organization.
- It’s not individual weight, it is “team” weight. Everyone gets on a big scale and then we have to lose more than 5% of our body weight in order to be in the running for winner.
- It’s a twelve week challenge.
I am picking my team very wisely. I know some of the ladies at my work always say that they are going to lose weight, and they never do. This will be a great pick me up and the boost I need to get moving. I am telling the trainer next time I see her we need to get a little more intense in our workouts.
I’m ready to kick some ass!
Got to get back on track
This time last year I decided to lose weight. As of today I’ve lost about 40lbs. I am really proud of myself but I KNOW i can do better. So this is my reinvention of myself. I will get back on track.
